CHEESE

Dodoni Feta

As ancient as Greek heritage itself, feta cheese has been part of the Greek diet since the days of Homer and the Cyclops. There have been numerous attempts in many countries to reproduce feta but none have succeeded in matching the exquisite authentic taste and natural white colour of the world’s leading feta, Dodoni – the name synonymous with feta. One taste and it’s easy to see why. Dodoni feta is made in the traditional way from the milk of sheep and goats bred naturally and allowed to graze freely on mountainsides and coastlands rather than on farms. What’s more, it is produced in the Epirus region of northern Greece. This ecologically enviable environment, with an abundance of clean air and water provides the ideal grazing conditions for the milking animals. Now it’s easy to enjoy the mouthwatering, creamy taste of Dodoni authentic feta - the only feta in the world with its name and logo inscribed on the actual cheese.
